# Let Them Live

Social mobilization campaign for the rights of uncontacted indigenous peoples

Uncontacted indigenous peoples are the most vulnerable on the planet. They are being exterminated by companies and outsiders who steal their resources and devastate their lands, the areas with the greatest biodiversity on the planet. We are doing everything we can to ensure the protection of their lands and thus prevent their annihilation.
Campaign carried out as Survival International's dissemination manager for Latin America and Spain. We reached a reach of 580K people, reaching 30 countries and 195 populations. 59K visits on Facebook, 2.34M impressions of the hashtag on Twitter, 701 tweets by 493 people (only in one month), more than 10K visits to the campaign website in two weeks, 2.4K impressions on Adwords, almost 200 downloads for WhatsApp, 5K email opens, 13.3% response rate from supporters, banner publication and projection at 6 film festivals. Sign the global declaration for uncontacted indigenous peoples
Isolated or uncontacted indigenous peoples are the most vulnerable on the planet. They have chosen to remain in isolation. They are within their rights and their decision must be respected. But outsiders are invading their lands and forcing contact. Entire populations are being exterminated by violence carried out by outsiders who take away their lands and resources, and by diseases such as the flu and measles against which they have no immunity. Join the global call for governments to protect the lands of uncontacted tribes and avoid forced contact. Only when their rights are respected can indigenous and tribal peoples decide their own future.
